Rare “K & C” marked spurs, probably made by Kelly Bros. These are the deluxe version with the pearl buttons and in mountings. Standard features elsewhere. For exactly who “K & C” are, see my book, Bit & Spur Makers In The Texas Tradition, pages 158-161. These are lightly cleaned, but hardly used, edges & engraving sharp, nothing missing, no abuse. This is the Kelly Bros. Style 58, in Catalog 17 (about 1919) made pretty early, probably during the 1920’s. Big 2″ engraved rowels, 7 pt., with engraving sharp on mountings, 1″ heel band and original straps. $6500
