Holster
double loop, marked "The
George Tritsch Hdwe Co.,
Denver, Colorado" and a
number 114C marked on
top loop, obviously a
stock holster for his
catalog. For 4 3/4-5
1/2" Colt SAA, with the
desirable mark on front,
as some are not. George
Tritsch Hardware was in
business from about
1890-1930? and was a
Colt firearms dealer, so
if you have a Tritsch-shipped
Colt this would be a
perfect marriage! Nice
russet brown color, fine
condition, no tears,
$600 |

(1870's) Style
holster....the Holy
Grail of Texas
Holsters....
Very
early Texas made about
1870 by the famous firm
of R. F. Tackaberry, Ft.
Worth, Texas. Two holes
in back, hole in bottom
where 7 1/2" barrel
protruded, old wrap
repair around bottom
third of holster, great
mark, the "R.F" in
Tackaberry a little
faint but legible. This
is the Holy Grail of
Texas holsters, very
rare this old, a later
one selling recently for
$17,500. Nice darkened
brown color, some old
replaced stitching,

Chaps - R. T. Frazier,
Pueblo, Colorado
Great
mark on billet. These
are a little short,
either cut off or maybe
for a kid, about 30",
but good color and
mark. Probably from the
1930's, god shape, with
3 conchos on each leg
and pockets. All
original and complete,
belt appears to be about
28" to about 38" waist
size. $500
